I’m perfect, bow down to me
Hello J
Its Wendy here (@MissWendyA) featuring on Shayo’s blog because I asked if i could…
Erm…likkle disclaimer….I'm not tryna be objective in any way…Shayo usually tries to be but I don’t think I can ever fully be objective (You know, what with me being human and all, subject to emotions and tings) so I’m not gonna bother.
You know them annoying people that are so self-righteous…they feel like they’re perfect. Flawless.Blameless. And as a result they feel the need to judge other people? Ugh! They piss me off.
Ok situation 1- a lady’s husband doesn’t make an honest living. He has a ‘job’ but you know….it’s not the most acceptable in the world. And people feel the need to judge HER. I don’t get that. A lady once told this woman “Why don’t you talk to your husband?” Well damn! You actually think the thought wouldn’t have crossed her mind? C’mon people! It’s not like we all don't know that if a person doesn’t wanna change, no amount of talking is gonna make them change. Let’s not be ignorant. Yeah, have opinions, have beliefs but try and see it from the other person’s point of view as well. I know it’s difficult to fully understand how another person feels but sheesh wouldn’t hurt to try.
People always talk about how important it is to let others know when they’re doing something wrong and trust me, I COMPLETELY agree and everything but when you’re talking to them, consider their feelings. Don’t act like you’ve never been there before. Don’t act like you’ve never committed a sin before. It’s like those parents that call their kids names when they start developing feelings for the opposite sex…the girls automatically become prostitutes because some dude is coming to their house to visit them. They forget that they were once there. Probably worse even.
I’m ranting; I know…you can always stop reading at this point though.
I’m gonna go ahead and summarise the message I’m tryna pass across:
· People aren’t perfect, we’re gonna make rash decisions, do stupid things, it WILL happen, (I tend not to feel too disappointed anymore, no one’s perfect).
· When it does, if you just so happen to be in the position to tell them off, please do it with an understanding that you are not God. You probably can’t talk, you’ve probably done worse.
· Tell people off, but do it with love, and if you can’t do it with love then…please be quiet.
· DON’T TELL PEOPLE OFF WITHOUT EXPLAINING THE REASON FOR YOUR TELLING OFF! DON’T DO IT! NEVER!
· People are not psychic, you think they know, but they really don’t.
· That’s it, that’s all. I hope I’ve made sense. I’ve probably not, I’m not a writer, I'm a ranter (Hehe, see what I did there? Yeah, coolness OVERLOAD).
Its Wendy J x
