BE GRATEFUL!!!!

HI GUYS!!!

I was at church on sunday and praise and worship struck me in the behind- to the point whereby i was in subtle tears.

As you read this, you're gonna think 'i swear she's written on this before', well, it's not cos i ran out of suttin to say,it highlights the importance of the matter

I'm writting on the importance of being grateful i.e. to God, to man, to friends and family and for the littlest things.

As christians, we have coloured the idea of 'being blessed' with material things. For example, we look at our circumstances and we think 'why is GOD not blessing me?' or we look at unbelievers that seem to have it all and we think 'God is unfair, how can he bless that unbeliever and leave me?' even Job's friends did it. When they went to visit him when he'd lost it all, they said he was wicked that's why- they thought the glory of God had left him, and yet it happened because God proudly mentioned his name in a conversation with satan.

some one said something "only the dead don't have issues". I don't know about you but, i'm very much alive, i'm not dead. so i'm grateful for the things i have and for the things i don't have.

A lot of us (even at a young age) look at life and dont see any meaning at all. We don't see anything to be grateful for. You only have a right to complain if you have ALL of the following:

1) You're terminally ill
2) You're so poor, you can't eat, drink or wear clothes AT ALL
3) You're ina wheel chair
4) You've just recently lost your sight (so you wouldn't be reading this)
5) You buried a child- or someone younger than you in your family
6) You've lost a parent and have no other family in the world
7) Many other bad things and finally...
8) You had a meeting with a messenger from God with a recorded message saying how you have no hope in the future for any good things to come your way.

If you have been through ALL of these afflictions then i apologise and this blog should never have been written.

Especially if you live in the UK, if nothing else, we should be grateful for CONSTANT ELECTRICITY. Stop thinking about bills even!!

The thing is, we always want more and more, the more we have, the more stressful things are for example, if you've lived in Africa, you'd know that there are times that there would be no elcetricity for months! we live in a society where it's a natural thing to have electricity and we dont even appreciate that.

Also, it's not just situations, it's people too. Be grateful for those you have in your life- people come into your life either for a season or for life; either way, it's for a reason.

I don't know why it's been in my heart to write this, but i am.and i know i'm talking to someone through this.

Have a nice month of May and don't forget to BE GRATEFUL FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Till next time, guys
xx
